EXPERIENCE IN STUDYING ABROAD

Studying aboard can be a daunting experience, but the rewards are worth it. Though it is easy to just stay in your comfort zone, I still think it is better to get out from it and experience the real world. You may not get this chance again.

It expands your knowledge and your view on the world.

Not everyone has a view similar to yours. The world is different in many ways. Many people have different culture, religion, cuisine, traditions, etiquette and customs. While some of it may look weird, I recommend you to be open-minded about it.

Being closed-minded about it can make you look like a prick.

Sadly, studying aboard can often be expensive for most people. If you’re not well off financially, it can be problematic for you and your family. Plus, if you’re a not a particularly adventurous person, studying aboard can be a stressful experience, as you’re far from home and family. You may be homesick as you miss your family and friends.

Many people may just want to finish their study and go back home as soon as possible. Which is quite unfortunate for them in my opinion. It is so worth going abroad to study because it is such a great way to broaden your horizons.

Travelling is something that can really open your eyes to different cultures and make you a more tolerant and empathetic person.

Take the time before you start working to travel as much as you can. Studying abroad is a great starting point – during holidays you can take advantage of your proximity to neighbouring countries and explore even more before going back to your home country.

To conclude, I absolutely recommend it if you have the money to study aboard and you’re an open-minded person.

But then, it is up to you whether you want to do it or not. I know that not every one will enjoy it, but then you should try to do it. You’ll never know if you like it or not if you never try.
